For 40 bucks I think I'd just keep stacking everything on the stairs as per usual and go buy me a whole slab of beer instead.

I actually think it is a good idea. I am constantly putting things on the steps that have to go upstairs, but I dont want to keep running up. Its mostly my kids clothes and since they are under 5yrs old and I usually get them dressed downstairs. Instead of having a mess of clothes on the steps, I can throw them in a basket and carry it up when I go up. As for the other peoples comments on this basket, keep on drinking!!
