I never bought into the UGG craze until this year, when I bought this boot in grey. (I don't wear them with skirts) But they're warm, not too hot, and I think cuter than regular uggs. Yes, they are like baby booties - with a fleece footbed - and i love feeling like I'm wearing slippers to brunch.
