Did you know that this Friday, September 19, is Talk Like a Pirate Day? Yep, that's Alpha Mom's favorite holiday. So, all week, we'll be counting down by highlighting some fun finds and ideas to celebrate the week.
Today we're focusing on Pirate Toys.
Have you stumbled across the I Spy Bags yet? They are mainly found by crafters on Etsy. Here are some of our pirate faves:

Now, pirate ships are pretty ubiquitous. But soft and cuddly ones? Not so much.
This pirate ship is available at the Pirate Store.
This Mr. Potato Head Pirate is perfect, particularly since all you need is a pumpkin. You can even recycle this one for Halloween.

We have personally tested these Pirate Toys at Alpha Mom headquarters and they arrrggggh great, matey.

Over the past year delightful innovations and introductions in the maternity and parenting space have increased, and we feel we need a space to share our discoveries with you. Daily news stories on parenting also inspire us to communicate with you. As such, the Hotspot is now the Alpha Mom daily blog. Finally!
