The forever inspirational Soule Mama shared with us her family's latest project: a Backyard Ice Skating Rink.
How cool is that?
So, the Soule family spent the weekend ice skating and playing hockey.
Soule Mama writes that there are plenty of online sources to help you make your own Backyard Ice Rink. Check out her post.
However, if you are not as crafty or brave, you can buy one. My son has been coveting this ice skating rink at Leaps & Bounds.

I live in Phoenix...and, therefore, am exempt from this "weekend" project. However I am definately remembering this one as I had no idea you could actually purchase something that would turn into a backyard iceskating rink. How cool!
My dad lives in Wyoming (where it is currently 2 degrees) and the rest of my family is back in Virginia (where it is quite chilly, too!). This may wind up being a great gift for my nieces next Christmas.
Thanks for the idea!
