Phew.
It's been over a week since Georgia Getz, aka BOSSY, of i am bossy joined the Alpha Mom team.
I was remiss in not posting that day and a little over than 48 hours later Georgia's family life went into emergency lockdown with her tween daughter having been viciously attacked by a dog.
When you become a mom, overnight it's as if the children of the world become yours. You cannot watch or hear news stories where there is a child victim or even survivor. It's a visceral reaction.
I have been consumed with worry and prayer for Bossy's daughter. I, like many online friends, await to hear good news about the skin graft on Bossy's daughter's face. Sending warm virtual vibes from here, sweet girl.
And, we at Alpha Mom wait through this family emergency and look forward to Bossy's return.
Bossy's column, Drive-Thru Bossy, is best described as a virtual window featuring stuff from the latest advertisement circulars. Bossy serves-up various items and products currently available in the marketplace. Some items are a Must-have. Some are a Must-have-been-joking. But always Bossy is bringing the extra back to ordinary.
