The power of information—classic Dr. Spock-type advice plus dish on all the newest innovations and hippest trends—is the draw of Alpha Mom TV, a cable channel started by 34-year-old working mother Isabel Kallman.
Kallman believes Alpha Mom TV is a salve for new mothers' busy lives. Aired nationally on Comcast's video on demand, it's available round-the-clock in easy-to-swallow 15-minute segments. "Instinct is good," says Kallman, "but instinct with knowledge is better."
